The Combine Planetary Interceptor is a type of the Combine planetary vessel, and the largest vessel in the Combine Planetary Fleet that is capable of harvesting the planet's molten core for resources, especially equipped with the powerful energy cannon capable of destructing the part of the whole planet. It is about the size of the Earth. Its travel technology is a wormhole, a topological feature representing shortcuts between two points in space-time. The Interceptor can link two points separated by extremely vast distances, such as many light-years. Thus, a wormhole could be regarded as a tunnel, with the two entrances located at different points in space.
