According to Greek Mythology the Horse Equivalent of a Mermaid is called a Hippocampus or just Hippocamp, also Hippokampoi, with two plurals - Hippocampi or Hippocamps, from the Greek words literally meaning "horse" & "monster", though it is often called a Sea-Horse.
Frankly I think that "Hippocamp" sounds kind of cuter than "Merpony" or "Seapony", but that's just my opinion.
