Actually it's a staircase. Spiral staircase, that is. I placed the camera on the floor, shooting a picture upwards through the spiral staircase.

I doubt it, since it was only taken at 28mm. I just had the camera laying on the floor with self timer activated, and had it shoot on it's own after setting it up.

I love the sense of playfulness in this picture, be it through the structure and pespective or the colour. Pink colour is somewhat unusual for spirals great shot.
