Yeah, I agree.  Even I can tell that she isn't really a villain since her back-story can very well be VERY similar to another character's story I know very well and that character certainly was NOT a true villain...

No, no, no...  I mean I FEEL that she has a VERY familiar back-story that another character I know of shares, I can just sense it.  I know I could be wrong but judging by her personality I can just tell that she may have a very similar story like the character I am thinking of that seems to greatly mirror eachother when compared, really.

Well, we don't know for sure. Many people, including me, came up with hundreds of theories but she keeps surprising us.

It turns out she's younger than we thought, which rules out the possibilities of her being formerly associated with Ozpin, Glynda, etc, or of being anyone's mother.

She has more skills than we thought. 

She has an air of command but she's willing to take on missions herself rather than let her subordinates do everything.

Still, it's not uncommon for characters to reflect those of other franchises.

But there's one thing that keeps on telling me that she's VERY much like the character i'm thinking about and if anything happens to break whatever/whoever (or maybe it has already and if so then I already know how she will be soon enough... ^^ ) it is she's fighting for then I can already tell that she's going to be VERY much like the other character I have the grandest of respect for and yes, it is a "she" as well.

ha ha ha  No one is saying she is a true "villain", you know?    She definitely reminds me of a similar character from a certain series from Konami and she was most definitely not the "villainess" one would initially guess at first glance, really.    Both seem to have similar back-stories and as such I do not classify Cinder as a true villainess.     But most view her as such so it's to be expected.

ha ha ha  That's up to the fans since we all have our own perspectives after all.    I still firmly believe she is much like said certain character from one of Konami's series of which I won't spoil.  Needless to say they both have a VERY fiery fierceness to them both and NOT on any normal level like Team RWBY (I say as such since they have yet to face any REAL foes and whatnot and as such they can never compare to the true foe(s) they have yet to face and before any of that can happen a SERIOUS change needs to happen in order to make them evolve to the next level they need to be, *refer to my previous RWBY-related journal to see what I mean to theorize * then and ONLY then will the be ready to face the true foe(s) they have yet to face in combat... ) so yeah, that much I will say. ^^

ha ha ha  Cinder is always my most favorite character mainly because her personality/story mirror another certain character's story from a certain Konami series and that other character is one I hold in EXTREMELY high regard/respect and the thing is is that, once you see the prequel to the story you'll see that she was not a villain at all, more like...  a very irreparably heart-broken victim... T_T
