The Tree of LifeI drew this for a tattoo contest and as usual, I got lost in drawing and went WAY overboard and after I finished it, I looked at it and thought... who the hell could sit through the pain of all that black ink?? Duh, so I just kept it as a cool drawing with one of my favorite symbols, the Egyptian Ankh or "the key of life" as the trunk.
(anyone wanting to actually get this as a tattoo.... you're a brave soul! ~Because I have had interest in this design as a tattoo and I have allowed 3 people the permission to use this for free, I have decided to use the new tool offered by DeviantArt, to allow a small point payment for the full size high resolution file for this image. If anyone wants to get his as a tattoo, you need only purchase the image for points and take it to your tattoo artist. I hope this seems fair as I spend a lot of time and energy on my artwork designs and a simple point donation will help with art supplies for future designs. Thank you all.

As I said to the other 2 people who have asked to use my drawing, thank you for first asking my permission. If you agree to send me a photo, then by all means, you have my permission and the rights to use this design as a body tattoo. I really want to see this design as a completed tattoo, so I hope that one of you actually gets this done and emails me the results.

As for your tattoo, I thank you agian for asking permission first and because you did, I happily allow you the rights to the tattoo on the condition that whenever you get it done, you send me a picture so I can see the results. Even if you and your tattoo guy change the design, I still love to see how tattoos come out, so I won't be offended if you deviate from the original and decide to go a less painful route by deleting some of all those branches, Ha ha.
