Gonna tell ya guys a bit about this lovely airhead and since I was a bit crushed for time, I'll make them bullet points:

- Younger brother/twin to ArcSpire, and wears his title of 'irresponsible little brother' with pride, and has the good graces to be annoying to boot. Was closer to Arc when they were younger, but as the growing issues of inter-kingdom tension grew, they slowly began to lose one another to their own lives and interests. Arcane would never admit it, but this saddens him a great deal, missing the times where he could spend time with his older brother, but he is far to prideful to say that outright, and would rather have his brother continue to think that he is no longer interested in him than to just say that he misses him grumpy butt.

- Is irritatingly chipper, having little capacity to take things seriously, even in the most grim of situations. Whilst this helps when times are tough, and he is great at easing the moods of tense moments, it makes hard both for others to take him seriously, and that he often doesn't understand (or at least doesn't want to) the scope of the issues his parents and many others face every day.

- Despite growing up with one of the most anal parents, Twilight went surprisingly easy on him, often coddling him when he messed up, much to the irritation of Arc. Whilst this made him far more easy going than his older brother, he can't take much stress before he crumbles, running with his tail between his albeit short legs when things get too hard for him (not that the bar is set that high to begin with).

- He's fully aware of how powerful he is, though that isn't surprising seeing as he is the offspring of Chaos and Order itself, yet despite that, he really doesn't put that much effort in perfecting his craft or skills, often relying on others to get the job done. He's like to commit to refining his skills, but when he thinks of all of the work that would have to go into practicing and reading up on spells and the like, he gives up before he tries.

- Has a huge crush on Gilded, but like his brother, is woefully too afraid to confess (though to be fair, she is pretty intimidating).

- Is not aware of Mal's true purpose, and for a while, he had feelings for him, too. (That may still be the case, and finds him to be way less terrifying than Gilded, and way more approachable).

- Is totally a Mama's colt, and that's pretty much a point he can brag about, but is less close to his father, Discord, who wants to push his youngest son to do more with himself, so he mostly avoids the older draconequus.

- A little detached from reality, to be honest. He was pretty much far removed from the ills and suffering of others, Twilight making sure of that, so when he encounters others less fortunate than him, he often can't empathize with them for he's always gotten what he wanted or needed.

- He desperately wants to prove himself as worthy of the throne, but finds himself unable to commit to much of anything. The indecisiveness, the anxiety, it's way easier to not choose than to choose... so he just doesn't, I guess. He knows that he has a grander destiny than using his magic for petty parlor tricks, but that's all he's ever known.
