Description
[Prompt: Alexis gets mugged by two thugs while trying to visit her mother in the hospital downtown.]She didn't see them coming, nor did she have any time to react at all when her backpack (with Marion inside) was suddenly yanked backwards and she had a gun slammed against the side of her head, knocking her unconscious. When the two thugs tried to investigate the contents of her backpack, Marion, who knew something was wrong, instantly pounced on them and scared them off. He would've let them get away, however , when he laid eyes upon Alexis' unconscious and bleeding form, a murderous rage consumed him and he quickly chased down the two and cornered them in an alleyway. He mercilessly used his threads to drag them both upwards by their throats, and watched with a satisfied grin as they suffocated.
However just as they were about to die, he remembered Alexis and knew that she never would've wanted this and -with a bit of shame- he decided to let them live, cutting them loose and letting them land on the hard pavement. He didn't even bother to see if they were alright before he took off and made his way back to Alexis and used her phone to dial 911 to call for help. Just as an ambulance arrived, Marion slipped himself back into her backpack and was taken in the ambulance with her.

((Hey idea! What if we had Marionette stay with us while the place is being closed down and all the new animatronics scrapped. And Jeremy knew the scrapping would happen, and sent him to us to keep him safe. That way, we could sorta be smuggling the Marionette to safety until the heat dies down!))

Alexis: *Showed him her bedroom and the small cat sleeping on her bed* "Her name is Tinker. Dorky name, I know, my mom chose it. *Cat yawns and looks sleepily at Marionette*

Alexis nodded eagerly. "There's TONS, Marionette! Like, everywhere. All you have to do is look out in the street to see them!"

His eyes went wide, and his eyebrows shot up in amazement. "Really???" He peeked out the window.

Marionette gasped and looked at Alexis, his eyes wide with wonder. "How many types are there?"

Alexis grinned, "Millions, Marionette. Millions."

Marionette had lost his ability to speak, he was so shocked. "Are...are there...any more? Different animals?"

Marion: *look brightened* Ooh! Can we go tomorrow!

Alexis grinned, "A place where you get to see TONS of animals."

Alexis chuckled, "Sure! But tomorrow, okay? I'm really tired and it's not open this early."

Paramedic: *shrugs* Hell if I know, but there's no time! *turns to yell behind her* Come on! BRING THE STRETCHER ALREADY!?

-looks at her, wide eyed, then run to get if-

Paramedic: *scoops up backpack and briefly looks at the card before stuffing it inside it* You're lucky kid, considering that you were so close to the hospital. *looks back to see the stretcher arriving* Ah, good.

-walks next to girl, and whispers in her ear- Mind if I can look in your backpack?

Paramedic:*turns her head and gives her a weird look* Sure?

Marion lay completely still and stared forward with lifeless eyes. He didn't want to blow his cover and risk being thrown out.

For a moment, nothing happened, but then Marion slowly blinked. "Can you get me in the same room with her?"

Marion smiled in relief before whispering, "Do you think you could make a get-well card and tape it to me so I'll look like I'm a gift from someone and place me beside her in bed?"

Marion waited as you got the supplies, keeping his hand ever-so-slightly out of the backpack to where he'd be able to touch Alexis' hand.

Marion smiled,"Thank you, my dear." *he began writing a fake letter of sympathy and taped the finished product to himself* I'm ready.
