yeah, you take SCP-500 AFTER being injured/sick.
714 DOES work against SCP-049, but if you stand near him for too long, the ring will be removed, and he'll be able to get you.

I actually just recently found thatΒ out since I was curious of which SCPs were in the game since I wasΒ gonna be playing it soon. I decided to read all of them, and it said on SCP-714 that it does prevent 49s effects to a certain extent. and 500 was a bit obvious for me. I've watched letsplays and 500 doesn't do anything if you take it before being affected by something.

I think simply taking SCP-500 would be enough, immune to every disease for a duration of two hours. Wearing SCP-714 doesn't seem like the brightest idea (considering the bad side effects outnumber the good ones).
