And managed to have way more fun with it than I could have initially anticipated.
It started with the googly eyes and was meant to stop there...but I just couldn't stop myself. X'D The red felt mouths came next. Followed by the dry husk blooms of the stocky 'male' cactus getting a sleek red paint job with a bow tie to boot...then the bald 'femme' cactus receiving a whole new hairdo complete with felt bow. And THEN they both got pipe cleaner arms holding up a symbol of their love; a tiny felt heart...
Yeah, I had WAY too much fun with this, but WHATEVER.

None actually! I'm quite proud of the lack of pain I endured. I didn't even burn myself with the hot glue gun! A first! XD

I glued them. No way was I going to press ANYTHING in too close to the cactus thorns.
