Description Last year I had fun with Star Wars of Light [link] where I made Star Wars characters into the different Lantern Corps. When I saw that we were approaching Star Wars Day I began brainstorming another, bigger, project! So my concept was simple: Super Heroes of the Star Wars Universe. The Galactic Avengers of Justice! 10 DC characters and 10 Marvel. Once I got started, the ideas were flying out! So here we go…

(Mostly L to R)

Nexu: I needed a Wolverine and thought the Nexu was the perfect choice. I made him a Yuzzhan Vong to add to the viciousness. I tried to incorporate the quills into the mask with so-so success.
Millennium: Please tell me you saw that coming…
Dr. Force: I could not come up with something clever to do with Yoda for the War of Light Project so I was determined to use him this time. Dr. Fate was too funny to resist! I think he’s adorable.
SM-99: This was the last concept I had. I wanted a Spiderman character but I couldn’t find an insect or creature that fit the bill. They had spider droids but I didn’t want to be obvious. When I saw IG-88 something clicked and I let out a giggle. That’s all I needed.
Chiss Marvel: After I thought of the name, she had to happen.
Captain Corellian: When Han Solo says the magic word “Scoundrel!” he becomes Captain Corellian! That was the idea anyway…
Chewondiss: I had a HANKering to use a Wookie. This one is the real McCoy! An accident in the lab turned our curious Wookie blue! Silly Wookie.
Plastic Muun: That one wrote itself.
Dead Puul: The Bounty Hunter with a Mouth! Needed a Deadpool and was gonna repaint Fett’s helmet when I thought about Maul (another giggle ensued) so I redid his facial markings to match our Merc!
Super Trooper: He was my second idea. I tried doing the “S” like the Star Wars font. Not my best. I also shaped his visor more like the Kryptonian diamond shape instead of putting it on his chest.
Kamino Real: Had to have a Wonder Woman. Her bracelets are supposed to represent their history as slaves, and putting the “Slave Leia” outfit on a Kamino chick was too funny! My first idea was to draw a pregnant Padme in the outfit and call her Slave Labor…
Seethrupio: Android to Droid! Vision and Threepio were a great combo. I was going to recolor him to look sorta transparent but I got lazy. Thank Chewondiss for that…
Cytoonautoo: I was giggling already when I had the idea to make Cyborg an R2 unit but when I started drawing the dome over his head I thought of Juggernaut. The giggle became a laugh. Had to happen. So he’s my true amalgamation of DC/Marvel/Star Wars.
Green Saber: Last time I made Star Wars Green Lanterns. This time I made Green Lanterns Star Wars. I made him a Cerean so we’d have a cone head. I didn’t want to use Martian Manhunter when I had all these other cool aliens.
The Ithorian Hulk: Wanted to use Hulk and I was going to make a huge green Rancor when I saw the dude sitting in the dark corner of the cantina. Ithorian Hulk sounded as good as Incredible Hulk…
Captain Alderaan (deceased): Question - How do you do a Captain America design without a flag motif? I was shocked to find that no one has designed the Alderaan flag! So I made one up. Also, the energy shield seemed appropriate.
Aquerrian: Aquaman had to be in here! And only a Querren would do! Yes I did consider a Mon Calamari, but I figured it was a trap.
Reek: This was my first idea. I was going to do a big behemoth character like a Reek, Rhino-style. I was all set to start when I saw this little Snivvian standing there knowing he was not gonna get picked. What was I gonna do? Tell him I was sorry? I thought it was hilarious.
Bantha Man: Like I wasn’t gonna do a Batman.
Womp Rat, the Youngling Wonder: Bantha Man’s only known sidekick (there may be more, but they walk single file to hide their numbers). Years later he left to become Night-Wing Fighter.
Red Sandstorm: One of the funniest parts (for me) of Episode II was when Threepio exchanged heads with a Battledroid. I wanted to do this here and thought of Red Tornado. He’s a android, so I did a body in the Kenobi Clone Wars style and threw a Battledroid head on it! Hey, I laughed.

Who did I miss? Tell me in your comments. Next year I’ll do the Bad Guys. Won’t that be some Sith?

Done in MS Paint.
