Yeah, I know that the Squadron Rangers are from the super sentai Dairangers, and that in the Power Rangers Universe comic they made a Black Squadron Ranger as a sixth ranger because the White Tiger Ranger was already used in MMPR...

But hear me out:

- The White Tiger Coin was artificially created using a different power source than the ones used by the Mighty Morphin rangers

- Zordon charged with his “own Morphin Grid Energy” the Dragon Coin and Tommy before he completely lost his powers as the Dragon Ranger.

- Zordon knew where to send Tommy to retrieve Saba and the White Tiger Power Source but he never tried to add a new ranger in the team until after charging Tommy with his leftover Grid Energy.

- The Squadron Rangers were created after the Morphinaut/Phantom Ranger charged them with his own Grid Energy, giving them powers for different colors, but not for the White one.

- After the Power Rangers Universe comic the Phantom ranger got to know Zordon before he became a Rangers’ mentor.

- The White Tiger Ranger has the same belt as the Squadron Rangers.

- Tommy as an old Man used a Master Morpher, wich gave him access to different ranger’s power sources using artificial coins, like the one created to make him morph in to the white rangers using the same morpher as a mighty morphin ranger.

-> So probably Zordon got his knowledge on the power Rangers from the Phantom Ranger and became the first White Squadron Ranger (White Tiger Ranger), then when Tommy started losing his Dragon Ranger’s powers, he used his leftover White Squadron Ranger’s power to recharge Tommy, wich also gradually helped Tommy’s transition to the Squadron Ranger’s power source. This helped him become the White Tiger Ranger, without asking for Ninjor’s help.

P.S. For this drawing I used the same style from the comic and I also added an extra weapon: the Tiger Axe.
