Description     Okeral's been kept at peace for a few decades now. There haven't been too many consistent threats in the ocean, and I haven't had to deal with any sort of criminal activity either. Everything was as it should be.
'...Is it bad to think that's odd?' I thought tensely. 'Odd that, with everything that he set up, nothing wholly devastating has been going on? The worst it's been was storms, but even those aren't much of a challenge anymore.' I shake my head some. 'What if...it's just too peaceful now? Like I'm not even needed anymore. That should...be a good thing...right? But...then...what else is there? I can't exactly leave to the surface often. And, even if I did, someone could—....no, no, that's stupid. They don't need the city for anything. They...they need..me. They need us. And yet..they aren't coming. I'd have at least figured one of them could breathe underwater...but I..suppose it's good that it's not. I just...hope the others are okay.' I sigh. Here I was again, wandering around, alone with my thoughts. Usually just coming up with rather pointless questions. I should be happy things are the way they are, that all my efforts have come to this moment. I have no recallance of what could've been done in my former body, but I doubt it'd have been as easy as it is now. And yet Mariann and Ukara are getting the worst end of it, since they live on land. This feeling had always itched me to leave, just try to do something to make sure they were alright. But if I did, I wasn't sure how...he would take it. All and all I just felt helpless. Like everything I've worked up to...just means nothing now. And, more than anything, I hated that. It's been the only trouble on my mind. And, thought I took joy in settling those, I..really didn't know what to do. Except let out the anger. It was a brief treatment, but it was all I could do.
I left the firm bubble shield of the city to take to a cave underwater. A good thing about the ocean, was that there was a sort of liberty when it came to wandering, despite how lonely it felt. Though, it wasn't like I could trail off too far with that, anyway. I'd have to bring my trident in that case. Nevertheless, the cave I hid off to had been a decent distance, close enough so I could still anxiously look to the place from afar, even with everything considered. 'Ugh, enough with this. Just focus on your practice.'

Time began to slip by, I haven't felt much different. Not tired, not better, I wasn't practicing too much, if not at all. I couldn't even recall the last time I actually attacked the wall, of  rather than just have a Hydro Pump form in my hands nonstop. "This..isn't helping," I bitterly grumbled. Deciding that staying was worthless, I ditched the cave. I had no other intentions. Nothing was or had to be planned and I found no reason to just head back home. I couldn't bear the thought of someone potentially seeing me so low, I can't let the citizens down like that. I subconsciously figured that I'd just stay out until the thoughts eventually left. They never did. I held my head with a frustrated groan. "Nothing is working!" I bellow. "How am I going to get anything done like this? I can't do anything." I should've just returned at this point, but felt the need to just keep wandering like something else was going to distract me. And that was nowhere close to true. I had just been talking to myself, oblivious to anyone or thing that could've been around. I only snapped out of that when I heard something rush by me. Startled, I put my guard up, listening out for where that same something could be. It came from behind, above, below, left, and right. Almost around the same time. 'There's more than one..' I concluded. 'That should be just fine. Handling multiple opponents has never been a problem.'  I began to glow immensively and the two of them, from what it sounded like, took note of this and disperced. Having the hunch they were around, I kept myself alert, until one of them rushed by me again, making me lose my concentration. Shrill-like cires echoed around me in almost a pleading like way. Instead of attacking, I just froze and watched how a light started to surround me, like I was being herded. With how fast they were going, it was like a blur. Until it slowed more and more. And, eventually, two..creatures revealed themselves to me. "Oh, it is, it is~!" One of them cried cheerfully after her eyes widened some. My head tilted a bit in confusion. "What 'is'?"
"You! You're that strong water girl. We've heard some stuff about you~."
"You...have?"
tYes, sorry," spoke the one beside her. "We've heard much about a bunch of cities underwater, always being broken up or abandoned, a bunch of run-of-the-mill myths and all."
"Yep. But what we also heard, from some traveler, was that there was this other sea city surrounded by a giant bubble and that it still exists because of who guards it!"
"Is that so...?" I asked awkwardly. 'When did one of the citizens move out?' The pink creature nodded her head in certainty. "Absolutely! He described them like juust about how you look. It became a very popular rumor and, since we didn't have much else waiting for us there, we decided to try and see this for ourselves."
"It..was a pretty tiring journey," the blue one continued. "We didn't exactly have any leads other than it wasn't too deep underwater." I only then began to notice that I ended up a bit deeper than I normally did. Was I so caught up in these emotions that I just lost track of just about everything? 'Ugh, good going there. Hopefully, I just went forward.' I nodded to her. "Well, that would be correct. It's also surrounded by lots of coral and other sea plants."
"Woow, it sounds pretty! I'm surprised I haven't heard about it yet." 'And I am just as glad..' "So, you'd be able to take us there, right? To your home?"
"Uuh well.. I..."
"Come on, Saffron.." came the blue creature. "Saffron" gave off a timid smile. "Sorry, sorry. It's just very exciting, you know?"
"I do, but, we can't just invite ourselves if she doesn't allow it."
"I mean..it's not usually open for tourism.." I answer reluctantly. "But, seeing as I have to head back anyway, I...suppose I could bring you along as well?"
"Really?"
"You don't have to, honestly. It's great enough that we even get to meet you...Azuri, right?" I flinched. Having other Pokemon know my name wasn't something I've been used to. Especially from utter strangers. And yet I nodded, a bit tensely however. "Well—yes, that is my name. And..you two are?"
"I'm Saffron~! But, you already knew that, hehe." 'Right. She. Did just..mention her name earlier..'
"And I'm Oasis. It's nice to meet you."
"Likewise, um, you two." My eyes narrowed as I studied them more. Almost as if I sort of recognized them without even knowing who they were. Like they were a combination of other Pokemon. "Eex..cuse me, but, what...what..are you two?" I'd ask cautiously, trying not to come off as rude. The other females blinked. "Oh, right!" Saffron exclaimed after the pause, before having to think again. "Well, you see, we're..not too sure."
"Huh?"
"Uuuh well, according to, well, historics and stuff, we were given a name from somewhere, but we...kinda forgot it and relate to each other as 'Somethingkin'."
"Really?" She nodded. "Yeah. So, in this case, I'd be known as 'Gorekin', because of Gorebyss, and Oasis would be 'Hunkin', because of Huntail. At least that's what we at our island do."
"That's..very interesting," I admit. 'I feel like I remember being something like that before..' "I do see the resemblances now that I'm looking more closely. It's a nice feature."
"Really? Thank you~!"
"So, I guess that means you wouldn't know of us?" Oasis wondered. I stopped to think on it before shaking my head. "Can't say I have, sorry. I mean..I've seen Pokemon like you, like Dewgong and Vaporeon, but never this specific species."
"Right, sorry, I...guess I was just curious if there were any other colonies like us."
"Oh. Well, I hope you do find some."
"I do too. It'd be cool to see our other family," Saffron agreed. I nodded a bit 'It sure would be...if only I could see them more.'
"...Miss Azuri?" Oasis asked.
"Hm?"
"Are you alright?"
"Oh. Yes. I just..forgot what I was doing. I got so caught up in all this."
"Oh, right. You were heading home." I nodded. "Yeah. But, well, since you two're interested, you're welcome to come." Saffron's eyes got beady."Are you serious?"
"Mhm. Come with me." I turned around, hearing the "Gorekin" squal excitedly from being me. The two of them followed me back to Okeral.

The long while went by and eventually the three of us made it. My acquaintances were bewildered to see the giant place as I mentally sighed in relief. 'Good. Nothing happened.' "Well, here we are," I announce to them. "It's soo beautiful~!" Saffron cheered. "It is! Much better than what that guy described," followed Oasis. I smiled a little nervously. "Th-thanks."
"You're welcome.
"Ooh, can we take a look around?"
"O-oh, sure. Come on." I swam towards the transparent shield and pressed my hand onto the surface. It glew up a bright blue before a hole opened up for the duo to enter, which they did thankfully. When I came in, the bubble closed up again. I decided to give them the overall tour of the city, while leaving out the far back which was the temple. They didn't seem to mind, seeing as they're newcomers they wouldn't begin to question that, despite how much that same thought nagged at me. They looked satisfied when we wrapped things up. Saffron beamed. "Thank you for the tour~."
"Yeah, thanks. This place is bigger than I thought!"
"You're welcome, you two. It's been nice to have you here." The "Gorekin" smiled some. "Aw, it has?"
"Mhm."
"Ooh, that's great! We've made a good impression on the leader!" I bit my lip some before nodding. "It..would seem like it," I reply with an awkward smile. "Also, sorry for..earlier. I was..on edge for a good while." Oasis nodded. "I see. Pardon our interruption then. Saffron just..got excited."
"Yeeah..sorry."
"You two are just fine. Say, you..must've came a long way, right?" The two of them nod. "Well, if..you'd like, I can offer a place for you two to stay for the time being." The two of them took this by surprise as they gasped. "Seriously?!"
"Are you sure about this?" Were their exclusive responses. I nodded with a gentle smile. "Definitely. It..wouldn't harm anything. Plus, you're both pretty tired."
"Ooh thank you so much~! You're the best, Azuri!" I smiled awkwardly once again. "Yoou're welcome, Saffron, Oasis. Here, I'll take you two inside and you can see where you wanna be."
"Okay."
"Got it!" I nod to them and have the two enter the giant palace that was behind me. 'Funny. I didn't think I was able to do that..' I smiled softly at the thought. 'Maybe this could be what I needed. Others to talk to..' Not wanting to waste anymore time, I enter behind them and begin to show them around.

Goodness, does anyone even remember these two? I haven't had a reason to draw them for about a year now, but a recent, andasinrecentimeanlikeprobablyamontholdideabynow, thought came up and, inatead of Saffron and Oasis living in the remote Dragoreas island, they could stay with/serve Azuri. I remember wanting to do a lot with this species but just never getting around to it even with all the sketches I did have ready for them. I guess that's sorta why I never drew anymore of this duo since I simply had nothing for them. But I'm likely to just make more stories for them just to get used to their character more and that's been going on pretty frquently anyway and will continue! With a certain giant cast on this account.
But yeah Azi is not a conversationalist XD
