I'm just sick of these "better/improved" SFM texturesespecially this one steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles…
(Update: the latest better/improved textures got removed, lets hope it's the last ey?)
"Permission from Red_Eye" yeah forget the guy who made the model, just ask for permission from they guy who made
a proper improvement and forget the creator and his opinion.
tbh if you want to make an improvement to anyone's models, ask the creator first and see if they are ok with it
just don't spam the SFM workshop with them, it's just plain annoying

Well (in my opnion) EverythingAnimations if you credit the modeler LIKE GIVE ALL CREDIT DUE. and as long as you delete the older versions (unless there’s some parts you’d like to keep, but if you wanted to, you could just make it another skin for it, we really need more reskin models tbh)) of the updated model retextured, I don’t mind, in fact I love the models with better textures and multiple eye designs!
For instance, these “Rotten Textures” are great examples of a good retexture release.
Most “good models” are mostly bland and texture lacking, (example bellow)
Although this ISNT a bad thing in general, for SFM animators this can be INFURIATING. Different textures can be used to add realism in close up shots or even add to the overall feel! Such as a bloody texture!
All in all, I feel this is a bit of an overstatement in general and even though you dislike it you have to admit it’s functionality in the SFM community!
