I know, I know, it's not very sophisticated or whatever, but believe me, I prefer taking pictures of everyone else but me.

Sometimes minimal sophistication has the greatest effect. Your eyes kind of remind me of Audrey Hepburn's in Charade with Cary Grant. Have a good week.

I saw the movie a while ago, then again the other day. There's a scene where she is standing to the right of Cary when he is talking to her. The eyes here are hers

I can relate to having a preference of being behind the camera as opposed to in front of it. But in my case it is justifiable as my face is apt to cause damage to the camera itself. You on the other hand, as lovely as you are, should be on the business end as often as possible.
