I just wanted to address everyone's questions at once, so I'll do so here

Yes, it hurt, but only at first. After the 4th or 5th piercing (there were 32) my brain decided to release a bunch of endorphines and I was basically on a natural high. Coupled with the fact that I was meditating throughout the experience, it was actually quite enjoyable, to be honest. It was definitely a beautiful experience, I'd love to do it again. I enjoy being pierced to some degree as well.
I left the whole thing in for a day, just so I could show it off, but it was done just for the shoot, so the jewelry put into it wasn't the right kind to have if I wanted to keep it. I left the top 4 and the bottom two that were in my back dimples for a week afterwards, because I was going to Saskatoon for my birthday and wanted to show it off a little This picture is actually on the business card of the piercer, so it didn't cost me a thing, which was nice.
From start to finish I think it took somewhere between 2-3 hours, because he had to map out where everything was going to go and what not. The worst part was actually getting my back drawn on, because I had a big sheet covering my front, I was standing ridiculously straight and it was hot - I almost passed out at one point.
So no, it's not photoshopped onto my back, no I didn't leave it in, no it didn't really hurt, didn't cost me a thing, didn't scar very much(there's little tiny dots down my back, but that's it) I enjoyed the hell out of the experience, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat
