Description
Sure, your plane had landed at midnight, but you had gotten plenty of sleep on the car ride to the hotel, and once you made it to your room you simply collapsed on the bed. So although you were slightly tired, you weren’t about to give up your morning routine. And the plan Misha had come up with was just too perfect to miss out on.You were wearing your running clothes, a tank top and shorts, and your hair was pulled into a ponytail. Someone knocked on your door as you were tying your shoelaces, and you answered it to see Misha, also wearing his running gear, and holding two small bottles of water.
“Morning, (yn)! You ready for this?” He asked cheerfully, taking a sip from one of the bottles.
“Definitely.” You told him, grabbing your iPhone, earbuds, and arm band off of the hotel dresser. You slipped your room key inside the case of your iPhone on the way to the elevator. During the ride down to the lobby, you worked your iPhone into the arm band and pulled it up to your bicep, attaching your earbuds. Misha had his iPhone too, but was just going to hold it while running.
You both quickly drank the water Misha had brought, and threw the empty bottles in a recycling bin in the lobby, since neither of you wanted to carry them.
Exiting the hotel, you and Misha walked along the sidewalk. The hotel you were at was only a block away from the event, and soon you saw the crowds.
Comic-con.
There were fans and cosplayers everywhere. One guy even seemed to be wearing a fully-functioning Iron Man suit.
People lined the sidewalks in small group, meeting other fans and waiting to go inside. You noticed one girl eyeing you and Misha almost immediately.
“I think we should split up,” You said, turning to Misha. “People recognize us much more quickly when we’re together.”
“If you feel comfortable, I’m okay with it.” Misha answered. You smiled. You had been on Supernatural, hunting with Sam and Dean since season three, and Misha knew you sometimes panicked, being the center of attention of a very large crowd.
Glancing to the fan-filled sidewalk, you grinned. “I’ll be fine. And if not, I’ll call you.”
With a wave to you, Misha went off jogging. You were both going to go around the convention center once, meeting in the middle, and loop back here. Taking a deep breath, you started jogging in the opposite direction of Misha.
In five minutes, you passed by hundreds of cosplayers. A few had spared you a second glance, but no one seemed to recognize you. That was a slight relief, and a slight disappointment.
Up ahead though, was a large group of people who were clearly fans of Supernatural. A few girls were dressed as female Castiel, or Sam or Dean, and there were guys as well who matched them. One even seemed to be a human version of the impala.
As you approached, always at a constant jog, one of the girls saw you. Her eyes widened, and she immediately tapped her friend’s shoulder, pointing to you and asking something. The other girl gasped, nodding rapidly.
You may have had your earbuds in, but it was just for show. Your music was on pause, and you could hear almost everything around you.
The two girls had alerted the others now, and the entire group stared at you, slack-jawed, as you ran by.
You grinned. They seemed undecided on whether or not to approach you, lest you turn out to be some random girl who only looked like (yfn/yln). So, only a few meters away from them, you stopped, pretending your phone was vibrating.
You tapped your iPhone screen, still in your armband. On the chord of your earbuds, where the volume control was, was also a tiny microphone, specifically for making calls while wearing your earbuds. You lifted the tiny mic piece close to your mouth, panting heavily. “What’s up, Jensen? I thought the panel started at 11.”
You heard a squeal come from the group, and spun around. Now they definitely knew it was you.
“Sorry, Jensen, I have to go.” You said, dropping the mic and taking off.
You ignored the shouts of your name, pretending to be oblivious, and tried to keep from laughing at the expressions on people’s faces when they spotted the group of cosplayers running after you.

Lol. I'm not sure if I would do that or feel really bad about not at least talking to them and go back there! Lol. Though, I'm also not sure how I would feel about taking pictures or anything after jogging. I would probably be kind of gross.

Love the story!! It was really awesome!
(I'm sorry, the weirdo nerd in me must point out that key cards for rooms have a chip in them and if you keep it near your phone for too long, it will scramble it and make it unusable. Pleasedon'thateme I'mjustanerdthatisweird)

Looks like you won't be able to get into your room then. Maybe you could bunk with a fellow cast member...
And lol, don't worry about it. Thanks for the compliment and the advice, I'll make sure to never put my room key next to my phone now.
