Description
This is an example of Daz 3d camera and filter settings. To make this relatively easy to replicate I used the stock Genesis 8.1 Female with no morphs and the stock skin textures with all of their default settings. The lighting is entirely by the default HDRI that loads with every scene in Daz Studio. This one ran with 250 total iterations with the denoiser enabled at 240 iterations, running it for more iteration will increase detail, particularly on the models skin surface and hair, which i cheated and didn't use. I used the Sci-fi Pilot armor due to it's variety in surface materials (bare metal, painted metal, several fabric types).

Here are the render setting used, anything not listed was left at the default value.

The scene is rendered through a camera, not the perspective view, with DoF enabled. Whenever possible, I pull the camera away from the character and then zoom in using the camera's focal length (mm) which, in this case, is about 155mm. This trick reduces lens distortion considerably. And, when setting up your DoF if you enable it on the camera, then set the f/stop to 0.00 you can easily center the focal point via the perspective view from a side or top angle. For most shots you'll want the focal point in line with your models eye(s) to ensure that is in focus. You can then adjust the camera's f/stop as need to control how much is in focus, the default is 22.00 in this image it is at 16.00 (lower values cause more blurring).
