Maybe she's hoping they'll throw in some food, although that's probably forbidden

S/he is so beautiful. Really. =]
It's terrible that they have to be stuck behind fences... but hey, at least they've got some measure of protection that way. =/

This cat lives at Big Cat Rescue, while it is sad that she now lives in a cage felines at this rescue were somehow exploited by selfish human beings in some way. So you can bet, she's better off in her own enclosure here next to other cougars who she chirps back and forth to where she can feel the wind and have her very own tree to shred and climb

Wow, I didn't know that part about Big Cat. I just knew that they acted as an animal protector of sorts. Thanks for that information. =]

There is another cougar rescue who was kept in a oil barrel with bars osddereding it in on either side for YEARS >_> Apparently the owner would just "hose it through" when it got too messy in what it was sitting in T_T People can be sooo evil

I honestly don't understand how people can have no conscious, and treat other people and animals that way. It's so obvious that you're causing pain; how can you keep it up? I don't understand.

Om my god. When I was in third grade I had a story about Screamer the cougar cub and his family!

Is that a book or a book you wrote? Screamer is a nick name was use for them in the midwest bc of their roar

It was a book, then I stole the name for my character who was basically a rip off of that book, but hey, I was 8 years old. He had two sisters named Lilly and I forget the other. They lived with their mother in (I think Arizona?) because that's where my dad lived at the time. I think I wrote about 3 chapters before I lost the notebook it was in.

I even stole the name Lilly from Harry Potter, since this was 1998 and my teacher read us Sorcerer's Stone that year. I spelled it with an extra "L" so I thought I was being individual.

Well that's not such a unique name anyhow, I think it's pretty actually

I love cougars. But over here there's certainly more than 100 in the wild.

They look alike, the big difference is they live in the swamp forests here in florida, most other members of the puma species prefer mountains or deep woods, also they tend to feed on the small deer and birds you find in Florida since they have less large prey they are much less likely to look at humans as a food source, although like the gators they do occassionally help themselves to the stray pet ><

No lol Odin attacked a gator once though! He jumped on it's back and then ran off but it scared me half to death! Shortly after he became an indoor only kitty lol

lol, dude! That cat is one lucky feline. o3o Though that sounds like something Stripe would do. Such a silly cat... I swear he thinks he's a dog, or an elephant or something.
