Description An attempt at Salvador Dali's...Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of a New Man.

My scanner automatically zooms and adjust brightness and contrast..which, in my opinion, kind of made this look funny. It's also slightly tilted and slightly blurry......buuuut maybe only I can see that ^-^.

Anyway. Done with HB and 2B pencil.


p.s. Unfortunately, I will probably never find time to finish this.

I just kinda left dA, caus i realised i spend to much time in front of this site. And time is exactly what i could use to draw, and to improve.

I'd never seen the original piece before being linked to it from here, but after having seen it, it'd be hard to tell the difference between this and a monochromed capture of Dali's. ^_^ It's just that close to the original. Nice job on this one.

Yes, I've found that I have a knack for precise imitation...

Buuut, I'm currently trying to add my own style to my artwork and create some original stuff. We'll see how it turns out I guess. ^-^

This is the scan shortly after I had finished the drawing...so shading is still intact. But, of course you know, the original drawing's shading faded significantly...hence the reason why I stopped liking it for a while.............
