This is a cute/reflexibe story which reflects a reality in real life with MLP characters. People is entittled to their own opinion but there is nothing wrong with a story like this.

At long last, we get to see the next chapter of this tragic story!
I can certainly understand how Spike feels. If he's like any other normal dragon that I know of, he's gonna live to be several thousands of years old, so he's gonna definitely outlive the Mane 6, and all of his other pony friends, as well.
My own dragon avatar just turned four thousand, and he would've outlived many friends already.
Now that we know that Twi has an older brother(Shining Armour), is he gonna be featured in the next chapter? Or is he dead as well? And what about his wife, Princess Cadence? She's an alicorn, so she's probably still alive; and still looking as beautiful as her two aunts, right?

When the original fanfic fr memory was written, Shining Armor and Cadence didn't existe din the MLP universe yet so they're not featured in this comic.

Well, you could always revamp it to include Shining Armour and Cadence. This is YOUR comic, and not the original author's.
Don't know if you would need the original author's permission to rewrite it somewhat, though.

Cadence's & Shining's precence on this story would be irrelevant and in my opinion, would be simple fanservice. This story is about Spike and Twilight, nothing more.
