This is my contest entry for contest which can be found here -> [link] It is about designing a different alter ego or fursona, if you want to call it that, for =Acaris . Now for an actual description:The idea for this species is solely based on the fact that I wanted to draw something with huge flopped antennas and so I did. From there on it slowly started to evolve. I wanted to use bug-like features but didn't want to turn it into one. That's when I started to add a little bit of dragon to the mix. So basically her skin consists of scales of three different colors. The dark brown parts are actually horn plates. Her limbs are fairly long, conforming her body at a height of 2.30m (7'6''), which results in a very slender look. Yet she's very flexible and combined with the gripping ability of her feet, it also makes for a very good climber. I wanted to make her eyes really special and I think I got kinda carried away on that one. For the color palette in general, I kept it close to the original Acaris, choosing a darker brownish look. Oh and she can poke stuff with her tail
Well, that's all I have to say. I kinda like that species, might give it a name someday.

Uiii, das ist ja mal ein Design ganz aus deiner Stube, das erkennt man sofort
Es erinnert mich auch irgendwie an die Xenomorphs aus ALIEN
Ich mag die Idee mit den Greiffüssen >D Ich nehme mal an auch der Schwanz ist zum Greifen geeignet?
Die Augen sind total klasse und ich finde diesen ganzen Mix aus Käfer und Drache echt cool, es erinnert mich grad an Pokemon, lol xD Sollte auch sowas geben >D Also, Käfer/Drache :3
Sind die Antennen eigentlich beweglich? :3

Der Schwanz ist definitiv auch zum Greifen geeignet und auch die Antennen sind beweglich. Aufstellen wird nicht gehn, dafür sind sie zu schwer X3
Ein Käfer/Drachen Pokemon, na das wär wirklich mal was cooles
Ach, mach dir keine Sorgen wegen der schweren Entscheidung. Es ist noch ne ganze Woche Zeit, in der die Leute noch teilnehmen können, um es noch schwerer zu machen

Hehe, thanks. I really like how the feet turned out. I actually tried different kinds of feet until I found the right one. The cogs are just brushes I found on DA for Photoshop, I rarely find an opportunity to use them though

You do like a variety of feet, it's good to see you experiment with them in your art work, though I think classic Sprite is still my personal fave
