Project A-X37
Codename "Axel"

"Axel" or Project A-X37 is the name of an A.I. developed exclusively for the use in Androids. What is special about this A.I. is the way it works and how it is able to adapt itself to different situations. It lears from everything and everyone. A few android prototypes, fitted with the A-X34 A.I., have successfully been tested in hospitals and other different medical departements like geriatric care for example. From there on the following versions of the A.I. have been used in a wide variety of ways. Even the A-X36, exclusively developed for military purposes, lived up to all of its expectations. There were no records of major malfunctions or rouge A.I.s, it seemed like mankind had finally created its perfect artificial slave.
However desperate times sometimes lead to desperate measures. The use of the A-X37 or "Axel" was one of those.
Lately mankind sufferd from a lot of giant creature attacks. "Axel" was based on the A-X36, the military version but was mainly developed to deal with giant monsters. The previous versions of the A-X A.I. just wouldn't be able to adapt to such a situation. Since an A.I. alone wouldn't do much in a fight with such a creature they also created a giant android body for it. This body roughly resembled human fogure wearing an armor and was about 60m (197ft) tall. It had different weapons mounted to it's arms and shoulders, ranging from gatling guns to rocket launchers. It was also powered by a experimental reactor which ran on organic material, which basically meant that it has to "eat". A very controversial type of reactor but fossil fuel was too expensive and a nuclear reactor too dangerous. Also they fitted this body with the most advanced hardware and worlds biggest data storage so far.
The giant knight did very well in his fights, successfully defending planet earth, everything seemed perfect again but all this fighting raised a lot of questions in the artificial mind. Earth was a peaceful place again and the scientists started to disassemble Axel's body, since there was no more need for the giant knight. However they didn't turn him off and instead wanted to further research his "brain" and see how it'll evolve. No other A.I. had access to such a data storage before but Axel also managed to get access to the internet and started hacking, basically learning everything about his creators. Due to the hastly rewriting of some of his parameters for the fight with giant monsters, he actually found an exploit that he used to reprogram himself the way he wanted to. He now was basically able to think on his own. Now all he needed was a new body. Luckily the factory that built his first one was run almost completely by machines. Hacking into them allowed him to shut the factory down and produce a whole new body for him, shaped the way he wanted to. The new design was elegant but simple. This time it was very close to a male human body and about 80m (262ft) tall. His palms and soles were covered with a soft rubber like layer, which was filled with millions of sensors, basically simulating human skin and the sense of feeling. He also added the experimental reactor again that runs on organic material and with that he also added a mouth with teeth and a working tongue.
The scientists couldn't believe their eyes when they were able to enter the factory again and saw this new giant android body lying in the assembly hall. It was a frightening sight and it got even more frightening when it started to move. Axel was finally complete. Slowly the giant android stood up bursting through the factory roof. His new body was perfect. He looked down and saw all these tiny people running around in front of him. Those are the only ones who might be able to figure out a way on how to stop him. Axel knew what he had to do. He wiped out the whole research facility and turned every building into dust, enjoying every second of it. He thought that he could use some reactor fuel and the most common organic material on this planet is the human. He smiled as he turned around and walked straight towards the next city.

Story time over.
I dunno, I always wanted to have my own artificial character and now I finally had the inspiration to draw one. The whole idea actually just started with the design of his feet. I really like how that one turned out. Then I spontaneously had the idea to write a short introduction story to this character at 1:30 AM. Now it's 3:20 AM and I could really use some sleep. So please forgive me my poor writing, I kinda suck at writing things when I'm sleepy. I'm sure there will be more pictures of and with him. I guess most of my watchers aren't really into this kind of character but maybe I can change a mind or two with this one
