hey evil-spite, im planning on starting to draw macro pictures, and i was wondering if you had any advice on drawing paws, because i SUCK at it. any advice?

Keep in mind, nobody starts out drawing amazingly. The difficult part is to just keep doing it and not being too hard on yourself.
Now, if you want to get better at drawing something, you have to keep on drawing it over and over again. Don't be afraid of using references, it always helps and even professionals still do it. I know that tracing is also a controversial topic but you can learn a lot from it, especially in the beginning. Just don't trace 1:1, use the reference to get a feel for the general shapes. Speaking of which, drawings are usually broken down into simple shapes in an artists mind. Like a foot would be a box with circles for the toes and all that. It's a bit hard to describe with words, so I guess some visual aid would be nice too. Over time I've collected a bunch of tutorials and references, that I deemed useful to me.
