Got into the Shimeji fad recently, but here were no good Sebastian ones out there. So made my own
hopefully Ciel will be up next

So like a Java thing popped up in Japanese saying download it an order to open the file, is thatΒ suppose to happen?

this info probably isn't needed now but if you need, you need java six, nothing over.

That link contains a download for java 6 on mediafire and still works. Thanks toΒ xxsnowyxxx Β andΒ DeadEndKing , we can still have fun with our little shimeji on windows 7!

Try clicking the Shimeji.jar file because I had the same thing happened to me but clicking on the Shimeji.jar file seems to work.

I have downloaded this, and this is the first time I have ever downloaded one, and I get the little guy to pop up :/

You should just double click the .exe file and it'll open up after a little while. (just make sure you unzip the file first)
if there's any other problems, just let me know

i cant get the program to load i get stopped when i copy and open it goes to the notebook program and has bunch of numbers and letters

have you tried downloading the .zip file? it should be in a separate deviation.

You copy and paste a shimeji file you like. Then go into the folder "img" and edit each image into the character you want. This could take a while 
If you want a more detailed step-by-step, it's easy just to google "how to make shimejis"
I used photoshop to make my shimeji, but it turned out less sharp than others. You can check on the internet what programs other people use, i'm not entirely sure. SAI may be another one.

hmmm. the easiest way i know of is if you have another shimeji, copy the file, then replace the pictures with the ones from mine. it should do the trick.

They should be quite easy to find. Either search for them on deviant art or google and you should find some.
