He has great taste in these kind of drawings, and he did this on PS, no rough drafts or underlining or ANYTHING. Much amusement. Dunno if the color schemes are kewl or not that matches this wonderful masterpiece (I love love LOVE sci-fi) And thank you Steve for letting me color your work!!Coloring:

I think you made a nice choice of skincolour, as it makes the person/woman look 'dead', specially with that mossy/rotten (depending on the effect you want) background. Keeping the black blood, or liquid as the colour sipping out of it/her adds to the feeling of it/her beeing 'unhuman' or a bit a.i.
For critics, I do like them colours. The part on the back where the cords-things stick out could be a bit more 'dark' or shaded. And the big cord could be a bit more shiny, though the shine on the small ones are good.
But I must say I like this... <3

If you wanted the skin tone to look more natural, you should have given it a more reddish tint. also, never shade with black or gray, it kills a skin tone.

I want to comment again lol. My biggest problem with this drawing was trying to get the colors to give it this natural skin look and I just couldnt get it right. It was really frustraiting, and you did what I wanted to do so thankyou very much.

I'd like to say, nice color choices, course things could be improved on.
Like the fact that the mood or feel or skin color is pretty normal.
Interesting how you left the drippings black instead of to red. XD;
Now I think oil instead of blood.
Somethings seem pretty hastey though, like the shading on the pipe/cord up close.
Anyhow, I think the only way on 'improving' (really just minor) would be perhaps a second lighting.
For the mood ya know? Normally (I guess) it would be something more cold so with a blue matellic light?

yea the slimy-ness is supposed to be oil, but it COULD be blood, since I do sometimes leave the blood black. We will never know...
I really should experience with different lighting and what not. Never really stepped out of my safety zone yet. BAH. I shall adventure out!!!!!!

I haven't really tried old people, least not seriously. XD;;
But yeah, people of different age groups are quite challenging,
I've also been trying to put more veriety into my character's faces according to age and sex. o.o

especially that mid-age 40~60 ish age... it's like they're not THAT old but still old and wtf.
bah those are hard! I try to change their nose shape, skull shapes, but i have a bad habit of sloooowwwlllyyyy going back into my comfort zone

eh you can always pass off drawing a young looking character and saying he/she is over 100 years old.
cause he/she is a vampire/immortal/monster/etc.
