Great work man! But maybe the triangles on his legs should have been more distinct? Split apart with some shading? I don't know, maybe something to make it look like scales / armour...I mean Heliolisk is a reptile after all. PS: I wish I could do what you do lol

Thank you so much for the critique! I appreciate it a ton man! I see where you're coming from and I thought about the exact thing except I thought it might look too out of place since a lot of reptiles have designs that smoothly integrates into their skin, and since I'm already deforming/simplifying the rest of the scales the extra details will make it them too accessory-like. I do agree the triangles should've been more pronounced so maybe next time I can make a thicker, more scaly border around the color differences including its tails and hands too to keep it consistent. Again, thank you for your insight and I'll try to improve next time!
