[MALFUNCTIONING DIVA]There are countless vocaloids out there... and I want to show my originality and uniqueness by creating my own brand? of the vocaloid characters.
Since they're more computer programs than hardware, I want my vocaloid family to be bugged in one way shape or form so it looks original.... no no no it's not because its easier this way because I'm used to it or I'm too lazy to make them look pretty! WHO SAID THAT?! ;;>__>
Anyway taking a break from my summer contest fest and finished one of my MANY WIP works.

to elaborate on my previous comment with an analysis/review, I'd have to say that the flowers give the serene feeling that the 'original program' had, the cracking of the torso gives the creepy feeling of the corruption and instability the 'software bug' is causing, and what drives the creepiness further is the fact that the AI seems to have snapped, as evident by the creepy/sexy smile. Evil is Sexy indeed. this is nothing short of a smorgasbord of awesome

I'm thinking about changing her outfit every time I draw her; my lack of fashion design skills would KILL me but I want to stay away from the official template design... gotta be creative than that!

really like the glow effects on the red and white- makes them stand out even more against that pea green.
..and i just noticed her hand. i find the whole picture somewhat unsettling now.

Indeed. I've been following Crypton's blog and they're trying new ideas for the Vocaloid 03 series and apparently the vocaloids are going to be able to talk naturally...??? CAN'T WAIT!
Also used to dislike most people's rendition of Miku's singing voice since she had this annoying screeching pitch sometimes but the Append was just AMAZING. They're making Rin and Len's Append pack too so can't wait to see what people can conjure up after it's released!
I'll LOVE to be able to make a vocaloid song my self but I have NO musical talent whatsoever... bummer!

Wow!? Really?! That sounds incredible. If there is one thing that is incredibly hard for just a computer to replicate without human assistance is natural speech. Sooooo many little details to keep track of, accents on certain words, the lilt and pace of a person's voice etc etc.
