Made by yours truely. I welcome comments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.The figure is actually a model I made from concept art for the upcoming movie Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I am not quite sure why I chose to portray Marvin (thats his name) by a gravestone, it was just an idea that popped into my head.
1920x1440, 1600x1200, 1280x1024 and 1024x768 versions included in the zip file.

perhaps the gravestone is a subliminal tribute to our dearly departed D.N.A.? T_T at any rate, this is a wonderful piece.. so simple... yet so masterfully done. Marvin needs more lovein. Congrats on getting the Daily Deviation. this desearves it!

I'm thinking if the background was a darker shade of grey, it would be more...spooky/morbid kinda thing.

Wow I've always been intrigued by Marvin that depressed machine... your artwork has really given me an entire new insight into him (or it?). I think you simplicility and blandness in the wallpaper suits Marvin's character very aptly, but I wholly agree with the title "Sleeper" - Marvin is so awesome but it's a great pity he prefers to let his talents lay unharnessed.
Very good job on the robot; the gray tones and the pereptual depression and gloom wil be my desktop for sure.
