Made by yours truely. I welcome comments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.The figure is actually a model I made from concept art for the upcoming movie Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I am not quite sure why I chose to portray Marvin (thats his name) by a gravestone, it was just an idea that popped into my head.
1920x1440, 1600x1200, 1280x1024 and 1024x768 versions included in the zip file.

I can't think of anything constructive that would improve it. I'm using it as my wallpaper now. I love how it's easy on the eyes and depicts an easy passive tranquil (if sad...but the point is, relaxed) mood. Thanks for providing me with it

This is a great sort of progress to link Marvin the Paranoid Android with this. Its a bit sad but even more depressing. Thats what I call fine art. Nothing is over-done. It allows the viewer to make his own decisions.

I made it entirely in 3DS Max 6. It is rendered with a toon shader which gives it that effect.

are you in any way connected with the production? I havent heard even which studio has picked it up, I was just vaguelly aware that its been on backburner since a few years before Mr. Adams passed away. If you have more news on it Id love to know! And I second the mention that marvin is awfully well, round for his personality here. Hes too approachable and anime-cute. Hope that doesnt offend, but its not really marvin if hes lovable is he? Voon. Still, this does make me think its decidedly hoopy, you frood.

No, I just saw his concept art and decided I needed to model him. I agree that I always imagined him as more square, oldschool robot, but I couldn't resist making a model of him once I saw the concept art.
