“I found an apple! OwO”Look at that, Nir’s proud new catch— An apple he stole from some travelers in dwemer ruins, and is now showing to his ‘brother’. Can ye blame him for seeing a chaurus that way, he was raised in a chaurus nest-
Meet Niringur, my Falmer or Snow elf! eve
A pure little baby that is abour 80/90% blind and lives deep underground with his chaurus fam. He is very curious and very polite, even having learned some human language from feeling inscribed plates and overhearing and copying adventurers and explorers. But he is also a coward; absolutely _terrified_ of non-falmer at the same time. Important notes:
- Apples are his favorite foods.
- Despite being blind, he is a pretty darn good hunter. No skeever is safe.
- Loves fluffy things and thinsg soft in the skin.
- but hates clothes. Screw clothes.
- yah see thise cuts and scars? And those shackles? Yeah, he got away when the dwemer were still around; _He’s ANCIENT-_
His piece was an old sketch I added a chaurus to, and finished in only a few hours actually. I nyoom- 7^7
Am proud tho, I love the effects I managed to make- O w O

I hate chaurus ingame (those chittering sounds they make are the stuff of nightmares to me) but even I have to admit they would make pretty cool followers, and perhaps even be quite cute as pets!
(also P.S your falmer boy is adorable and I hope his chaurus fam eat anyone who ever tries to do him harm)

S a m e, Chaurus in-game are my worst nightmare tbh. When I discovered Chaurus hunters were a thing, I screeched, those bastards somehow only got worse- >A>
They would, wouldn’t they? Maybe someday someone makes a chaurus pet mod, would be neat! I can’t exactly do that since I dunno how to make ‘em, pfffff-

Now we have the FLYING ones to worry about- ah but I'm sure they could be made cute though, I think if they weren't always spitting acid and trying to bite me I might have a higher tolerance for them
Ooh but I hadn't considered a mod~ I'm sure they'd be a very handy pet/companion if they fight half as fearsome against hostiles as they do when they're trying to ruin my no-deaths playthrough XD
Ahah yes, Chaurus momma to the rescue! Bullies won't go near him when they see her on the other side of the playground XD
