also, bears on a submarine...makes me wonder why the f**k they would put bears on a sub in the first place...and then of course I would want to actually see the movie to see how they pull off a believable explanation for that question. ^_^

never went and saw the movie, but I did read about how the movie started: somebody had, like, half a script and some plot details, posted it on the internet for suggestions, and the thing went intraweb cult faster than you can say "omgwtfbbq". They literally wrote the rest of the script (and changed things in the part already written) according to what the fans wanted to see.
So of course, if you think about it, having a few thousand people with imput into a movie script is basically asking for plot holes big enough to fly a 747 through with room to spare. why/how the snakes got on the plane is kinda irrelevant; the fact that they're there is what makes the movie what it is.
