There was a big war. Everything was destroyed. The cities, the computers, the civilication, everything. The world was just a big ball of dust for a long time. Then small tribes of humans started to rebuild some of the simplest technology, like shoes and blackpowder. The ate bugs and rats to survive, and wore masks for protection against the sun and the radiation. After a while a new society formed. And thats the may it is.
