FULL VIEW PLEASE~Original concept character designs by me.
The idea popped out while I was playing Grandia III. I think its quite common that the healer of your typical rpg party is a magical girl/boyl who acts cute and cant take much punishment in battle. Well, I got tired of that idea, so I figured its time to destroy cliche'.
Overall, I based this female field medic on chinese-esque soldier designs and added some nice touches here and there. Also inspired me were real-life field medics who are no different from the soldiers by his/her side. Just wanted to make a point that medics/healers too can be badass.
The sketch and shadings took me about an hour plus. I'll probably CG this sometime.

Yeap. I'm pretty glad they're doing it right now. Games, anime and alike need more badass medics/healers. Medal of Honor and Quake 4 did a good job on that.
