DAMN THIS LOOKS GREAT!!! I didn't work all that hard on it but it turned out badass! So yeah, it's Shadow as an angel. I was going to draw a flower in his hand, but I got kinda lazy and so I decided to do a ball of light. You can interpret it as whatever you want. I still think it looks really cool.Related content

I want to say that this is a decent picture, and it is - but I'm really irked by the artist's comments. I liked the meaning of this picture before you were telling me it's badass and cool or whatnot. The fact that he's super can make it very beautiful and adds on to that innocence that angels have. But if you meant for the angel to be badass, as you claim, why not draw it that way? This picture certainly doesn't seem to portray that. If you meant for it to be heavenly and spiritual like this, then that's that. It's nice that way. But please.
The drawing itself is okay. It's a tad bright, and the colouring seems sloppy just being covered up with blurry/fuzzy lights. That will improve over time if you practise. His face seems a bit scrunched up, but the hands are well drawn. As a suggestion you could have used a different colour than gold to outline pieces of the lineart. For his chest fur you might have wanted to use a darker gray so it doesn't stick out as much as it does. And maybe a darker red for his stripes.
You may not be asking for critique, and I am not attacking you, but I thought I might express that. You can improve.

Damn that was the first time I ever got something like a critique. Thanks! Though the only reason the lighting is so bright is because I always had this notion that angels glowed radiantly, enough to light a cave if they wanted to. So it's just light obscuring color. As for the coloring itself, I was trying to go for a hand-drawn look, despite the yellow outlines. It's just how I do digital work.
