This episode ended up shorter for some reason.
Anyway, I caught Krismas the Marisa-A on Route 5. She did really well in the short time I had her. She even caught up to Crikey in terms of level. I then botched my attempt to catch something on Route 6, so I entered Vermillion City and got the Old Rod and fished at the docks there.
I was surprised that the RNG blessed me with an Eiki at the end of the line. She was pretty easy to catch. Now, I've probably been reading too many of 's comics, since I was very tempted to name my new Eiki "Pocket-Tan." However, I eventually settled on the name "Bacon" for some reason.
Now Bacon is pretty much the baby of the team, being at level 5 as opposed to everyone else being level 20+. Because of this, she's probably not going to see any combat until she's at least the same level as Crikey.
So then I boarded the S.S. Anne and encountered Renko Order. I managed to beat her, but unfortunately, I lost Krismas in the process. She was killed by Order's CMerlin, which, having 1 hp left, managed to get a critical hit with Earthquake that OHKO'd Krismas.
I got the HM for Cut seconds later, but I apparently have no Bonekas able to learn it. Whelp, time to scout the neighboring routes for an HM Slave...
