im gona have to agree with the others on this, while its a nice image it could use less of the softening on the face, especially the eyes. i think that would make it a far stronger image.

For the most part, your color scheme, lighting, and concept work well. I would work on composition, generally you want to work with the "Rule of Thirds". Perhaps you can try off-centering yourself a bit more in the next self-portrait.

The green color really adds to this. Might I suggest a little sharpening up? There's very little depth, especially around the eyes. Even though you're "engufed" in leaves, my focus is still your eyes since they're the middle of the picture.
Other than that, I really like this. I love the way your hair spirals into your face a little. Adds innocence and beauty. I also like the way you matted it.

I like this photo, it's a beautiful portrait among the leaves, but I would fave focused more the face instead of adding the blur. I like your expression among the leaves, I think it gives a sense of loving the nature that surrounds you

I like the pic overall, but there are a few things that need work. The model is pretty, I rather like the smile and all, very nice. Problem is however, that the eyes need more depth and clarity to them. A little more focus on them or work in Photoshop could really bring out a nice depth and emotion to them. For me, the eyes are the most beautiful part of a woman, and being the central focus of this piece, I thinkg there should be a lot more detail in them. The leaves add a very nice shadowy effect, but could use a little bit more contrast in the shadow part. The detail is nice on them, and would be nice for a macros shot of scenery or something, but they kinda detract from the focus on the face. Not sure if this is what you want, but if it isn't it might be good to change it a bit. I really like how the hair blends in with the scenery and all, very nice work there. The curls and all are very dynamic and add a great depth and feel to the picture. One last thing: the title, "engulfed", kinda adds a negative feel to it, might want to consider a change. All in all, very lovely pic, great job

Awesome picture, I love the way that the colouring turned out, and the way the leaves wrap around. How did you take such a good picture of yourself! I would love to do portraitnig but have no model(s) and dont know how to set it up to take a picture of myself that good... Unless you are just using the timer on the camera and getting absolutely amazingly good captures.

I held the camera up with me near leaves hanging down on a tree. I have a little brooke going through my back yard, so the trees kinda overlap and bend and turn. It's really pretty
