Oh dear, those Ladies with so empty a stare, suggesting the same sense of the soul residing within. Playing at that scary gothic game of cat's cradle while standing knee deep in a dark, foreboding sea amid the flotsam of apples. All the look of a Luciferian kind of Lady who has just caused the wreck of a ship, or some other horrific catastrophe while she now stands aloof and absently plays while the signature of her comings and goings bob aimlessly about her on the lapping waves. Killing some time shooting a game of Cat's cradle before she sets out on her next diabolical deed surrounded by her retinue of attendant, abhorrent apples.

Wow! That's such a great short, thanks for giving her a story! I love your interpretation. I often don't know what possesses me to paint the things that I do, but for some reason every object in the painting is important to the unknown story. You really caught it!
