Me as Hiccup, from How to train your Dragon 2!I wasn't cosplaying for sooo much time, and then HTTYD2 happened! I fell in love with that movie, ok?
When I heard about the DragonWeekend event here in Italy, for the promotion of the film coming out in stores, I couldn't stop myself! I contacted a museum here in Rome that was joining the initiative, and I was proposed for being the official Hiccup of the Weekend. Can't describe the feeling, really! Kids were going crazy about me and the Astrid with me!
And having a full-size Toothless there, for awesome pictures... A dream! ✌You can find other pictures, videos and gifs on my page!

I seriously wish they would have a DragonsWeekend here in the US. My family are major dragon fanatics (DreamWorks dragons and knights and dragons dragons as well) we used to do Pensik but don't anymore but we have dragons, swords, and other medieval things around the house. Congratulations, belatedly, to being the official Hiccup, I bet that was beyond a thrill. ^_^

LoL we have our moments. We lost our original pointies (my daddy had a spear that he had made and etched the celtic knots and runes in and a family friend had mad the point, the double bladed battle ax, the broad sword, the 4 or so different machetes, my sisters many throwing stars and knives, and among other things) in the house fire last March so NOW we have new ones! My mama even has a replica of Excalibur!!!!!It's like IDENTICAL!! Plus she has a viking sword replica too.....both are form England. And we know get to get new and even BETTER sharp and pointy lovely items that we adore. ^_^
I have to say though....not all families are viking like and as cool as mine.....sorry to burst your bubble. LoL

I never purchased my costumes. I made it myself! I wrote about the materials and everything on tumblr and on my page, along with multiple wip pictures
