A barcode I made using my own details here: [link]I cut out the numbers and put the word "Slave" in alot like the artist himself does. I thought it'd make a great tattoo.

I like the concept of the tattoo, it's like 'Life for Hire'. Nowadays humanity can't seperate itself from money and soon, even human would be priced for sale (correction, it had already happen, if slavery counts). I like the simplicity of the design and the meaning it carried from it.
When I was looking at it as a thumbnail, I noticed that the barcode are uneven. Not the uneven where the height is concerned but as in the dark and lightness of the barcode. The right side seems much more dense and darker then the right. Is that intentional?
This is by no mean a 'flame', it's just a suggestion in which I hope to help people with improving their art by stating what I think of the piece.

Im sorry but I dont like it at all. while from an aesthetic standpoint I would give it an 8. From a creative standpoint i would give it a 1. The bar code thing has been done to death. while youre at it you might as well get tribal armband or the misfits skull tattooed.

Honestly, I was thinking about getting a barcode, but I also thought it had been done to death.. I was gonna try to make the numbers in the barcode say something but then I decided to scrap the whole idea...
I like my choice better.. I think it says much more about my personality and life in general..
I mean everyone gets a label in life, at least I gave myself mine...

i never get tired of barcodes. just the barcode in itself is an amazing thing [IMHO].

well, it is a popular theme, its taken from the bible, "During the rapture the mark of the beast will be placed on mans left hand, and all who have the mark shall not enter the gates of heaven" Ive seen it done too somewhere, but I made the barcode and thought "I know! Ill make my oown rapture tattoo" Thankyou for the comment.

Thats what alot of Pentecostal christians believe, personally, I think it'll be far less ovbious than that, and not necessarily in your hand, Idont think it should be taken literally. I think its computers. Supposedly during the rapture, you wont be able to get food or medecine without the mark. That could well be the money chip, but I think it's actually computers. I mean, you can get all your food from them, certain shops are only on-line now, and almost everyone has one.
