Love this photo especially the sharp focus do you mind me asking what model Konica camera this was?
Currently investing in a SLR camera and doing my research.
Beautiful Image

Hi EvilxElf.
I've admired your work since the first time I saw it. I believe it was the self protrait with that scarlet veil.
I've been interested in photography for a while but never really understood how touch ups work. Would you consider doing some kind of tutorial? You know, out of the kindness of your heart?
Or maybe perhaps just say what you've used on this image, or on the film version? Not like a painstaking history, just briefly which effects and tools.
Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by touch ups. I just scanned this and resized it.

You don't use any kind of photo manipulation?

Oh I thought you were only asking about film. For digital, I edit contrast (using curves) and saturation.

That's all? Wow, I always thought photoshop was so much more complicated. (I hope that didn't come off as arrogant) Alright, I'll do some test runs and see how it goes.
Thanks for answering my questions so quick.

You can get complicated with photoshop, but I've learned that to keep a photograph a photo, less is more.
Good luck!

A wonderful piece full of the concept of internal reflection. Your subject seems to evolve with your own experience. The hands are so crisp and clearly focused. It reminds me of the Eucharist or a Greek motif.

What can I say that I haven't already said about this series of photos?
I love this. I feel like it captures one of childhoods many little facets.
Love the highlights. Love the shadows, the grain, your tones. Love how you have to kind of search for the fish. You should be very proud of yourself.
I'm too excited to see more. And I wont stop bugging you about it.
About the title, your mother will have to help you think of something different. I have faith in her.
