You know, I've got to say that I really like the combination naming/concept of this piece. Opposites attract, yes, but who is to say they're opposite? If you trust your eyes alone, yes, they are opposite shades of melatonin, but aside from that external difference, there's nothing to suggest they aren't twins. If we continue to allow racial divisions, even in "harmless" jokes, then we will never become whole as a culture, much less a planet.
Sorry, I'm a bit tired, and I tend to get philosophical when I'm tired.

True, the point of the naming was because most of the physical features are opposites and they are best friends, but nothing was meant in a racial sense. I'm not offended by your comment, just stating it but glad that the shot made you think :]

Oh yeah, no, I wasn't accusing you of being racist. I think I was accusing society of being racist, though. And it's not one race's fault; it's all of us.
It is a very nice photograph though.
