The eyes are definately the standout feature of the photo (obviously). Any reason for using the gold flakes or just thought they'd help accent the eyes?
ps. i know you requested critique on these and that they're a tad old but I can't do critique so this is the next best thing for me. hope you don't mind.

thanks! its actually metallic flakes used for painting, to make things look tarnished heh
