This is a lovely picture! It brings back a dose of nostalgia and memories of watching my favorite cartoons as a child (like Arthur, and Caillu).
I would however add some more definative shadows (particlarly around the feet), in addition to the reflective surface of the snow. It would help lend a little more depth overall.

It was just one of those works that I saw and I couldnt help but like it. The loving theme and the styleing just brought back a rush of those warm, fuzzy feelings.
