I made this animation looking carefully some old sonic animations, and thanks to for this again! She knows things about flash that i donΒ΄t XDThere is a version with normal shoes too, but i love the soap ones. >,< sorry.

Or maybe his whole running consists of small jumps on (like he's hopping on one leg 
I think it could loose this effect if his right foot wasn't drawn so much pursed to his body and his right knee wasn't so high.
Anyways I'm not an expert in animation, so forgive me for the critique.

Glad to see that you're exploring animation a bit more. It really suits you.
ANYWAY... this is a good animation, but not so much as great. Don't get me wrong, you've given him a very dynamic style of running, but it seems a bit choppy. You might want to throw in a couple more frames in between steps, as it would put this issue to rest. However, I do like those minor details that you've added in the frames (like the shadings and extra-outlining) and they are very professional-like additions. Just be sure not to forget to keep in the basic necessities and you'll have the whole animation concept down.
Oh, and the SA2 style shoes were a nice touch. (XD)
In conclusion, you've done a above-average job, but there is DEFINITELY room for improvement. It's good, but when you usually make your over-the-top performances, it seems like you forgot something essential. Be sure not to confuse doing the job good, and doing the job right.
Don't take this as a harsh bashing, but just as a way of guiding you through.
