I made this animation looking carefully some old sonic animations, and thanks to for this again! She knows things about flash that i donΒ΄t XDThere is a version with normal shoes too, but i love the soap ones. >,< sorry.

His soaps made sense, had metal groves and were part metal so he could grind on rail or his shoes wouldn't burn off.

well, not the exact model, but the ones he wore were based on the "scorcher" model i do believe
