Tales tell of a twisted band of abominations that roam the land, spreading their vile songs to infest towns and corrupt souls. Wherever this horrid group strikes, death and destruction are soon to follow. Though they are monstrous creatures now, the members of this foul band were actually once human. The stories say that they were a traveling band that went from town to town in order to perform and entertain. In truth, though, they were nothing more than talented thieves, using their performances to distract the people while they robbed them blind. Their tricks and charm were legendary, as they fooled entire crowds into believing them as nothing more than simple musicians, even as their infamy grew with each heist. For years they looted and robbed, gaining both treasure and enemies with each passing day. Many wondered if their spree would ever stop, if they would finally call it quits or if the gallows would bring an end to their careers. No one could have predicted the true fate of this infamous band. During a heist on a wealthy collector, the band of thieves happened to snag a rather strange music box in their haul. They knew not what it was, only that it looked expensive and that it would fetch a fair price. Little did they know that it was a Cantatio Daemonum, a vessel for the infernal Voices. They only realized this when they returned to camp, and one of the members opened the box. Brought forth by the screeching tune of the device, the Voices came forth and offered the gathered musicians a single wish. Still celebrating from their recent victory, the band did not realize the danger of this offer and plunged ahead recklessly. Since they enjoyed their life of music and trickery, they wished that they could live this life forever, and the Voices began to sing. At first the musicians believed the song would give them immortality, but it unfortunately brought much more with it. The music began to warp their flesh and tear at their minds. Their bodies were mangled and twisted as the song altered their sheer existence. In the end, the members emerged as horrid abominations, their human bodies and minds forever lost. Infused with infernal powers, they could indeed now live the life of music and thievery forever, but not in the way they had imagined. They would not be stealing gold and jewels from the gullible, but instead blood and souls from the living.

Warped by the song of the Voices, Agored lost his humanity and became much like the instrument his former self played in life. With the other members of the demonic band, he uses his musical abilities to capture victims and drain them of their blood and soul. By stretching and compressing his trachea, he can produce an infectious tune that hijacks the listener's body. Those who hear his song will suddenly find their bodies dancing on their own, following the beat of Agored's song. Victims will still be conscious and aware during this, to the point where they can still speak and scream. No matter how much they may beg or cry, Agored will play his song and bend their bodies to his will. The main use of his power is to capture victims and force them to prance into the waiting claws of the band. If there are those who are resistant to his song, he may use his possessed prisoners to trap and corral them with their dancing bodies. When it comes to special victims that he has selected, Agored loves to make them dance until they drop from exhaustion. He enjoys watching them frolic about as they beg and plead for their lives, always throwing in feverish tunes and humiliating dance moves to make it even more humorous. If he ever encounters an attacker who is immune to his song, he can violently compress his trachea to unleash a blast of wind that can knock grown men off their feet. Though he has been mangled by the Voices and his former identity has been long lost, Agored is a rather jovial creature. He always finds something amusing in every situation, and he seems to enjoy the spectacle of the band's deadly performances over the profit. While some members may prefer to get straight to the point, Agored really enjoys toying with victims and making them dance about. The only member who is cheerier than him is Miserel, and the two have bonded over their love of show and fun. During their hunts, the duo will go off to find a group of victims to torment. Once their prey is spotted, Agored will force them into a dance, and Miserel will join in on the fun. He will dance alongside them, pulling his usual stunts and tortures while his companion plays on. In some cases, the two may get so caught up in their fun that they jump in and put on their own personal show. During these times, Malstro or Writhem will have to step in and break up the party, annoyed with the delay and unnecessary theatrics.
