"Grinning Dragons are the worst beasts for knights and monsters slayers to hunt. Not only are they tough to kill, but they are extremely nasty and have practically zero blind spots. Anywhere you try to strike or stab there is going to be tooth and fang. Getting close to it is either a recipe for getting bitten in half or getting covered in corrosive saliva. Fighting them is an absolute pain, but that isn't the whole issue. The real problem comes from the fact that there is no glory to be gained from slaying these creatures. No cheering audience or magnificent statues erected in your honor. Because in the end, the Grinning Dragon is a ugly creature to behold. No one is going to sit around and watch your epic battle with such a putrid thing, especially with the risk of being eaten. No stone carver or painter is going to use their craft to sculpt such a disgusting beast. Kings don't even want you dragging in pieces of their corpse as proof of your conquest, as that would probably cause the good rugs to be digested. No, what happens is that you get a bag of coin thrown at your face and a hearty pat on the shoulder. At the end of it all, slaying a Grinning Dragon is like being the guy who shovels the horse manure off the cobblestone. It is tough, necessary work that people appreciate, but don't expect any confetti."
