Description
There are four who live within the universe, but not the way we do. While we reside within existence like a man living in a house, these four live within the walls. They reside in the very fabric of existence. They are the Fates, and they are responsible for the past, present and future of the universe. Their world is filled with the glowing-blue veins of being, the twists, splits, knots, spirals and dead-ends representing people, places and events. The large network spans for millions of miles, constantly growing, constantly shifting. And they are the ones who tend to it. One who starts new strings, while one ends them. One who twists and turns the veins, while one records them. They are the Fates. And every moment of existence is made by their hands.
The Fate of Determination is responsible for altering and directing the fate of all those who live within the universe. His work affects all, ranging from a man stooping to pick up a coin, to a dictator slaughtering thousands in a horrid war. As he travels throughout the realm, he carries with him several objects of various shapes. As he works, he twists and turns these objects, like ancient Rubik's cubes, altering the strands that are fed through them. Strands may split, fray, bend and solidify as they are worked, each alteration affecting what the strand represents in the real world. The various claws that emerge from his flesh grip the network as he works, anchoring him as he performs his complex task. Though all the Fates bear the weight of existence, he sees his task as the hardest of them all. While one deals with birth and the other with death, he has to work with everything in between. It is his duty to decided how events, lives, wars and worlds unfold. He is the one who "flips the coin" for every instance of every inch of the universe itself, which is quite the burden. With this, he has been known to grow irritated during his job, finding the constant neediness of reality to be quite aggravating. This anger of his can find its way into his work, as people, places or things find a sudden storm of good or bad luck striking them out of no where. In some cases, he may rain blessings down on someone just to stop their strand's "whining" for a bit, but in others he may send cataclysms and other horrible things to silence them for good. To those who get such a treatment, people say that they have "caught Fate's eye." While it is tempting to think of the riches and aid one would gain by getting this Fate's attention, one must remember that there is an equal chance of him dropping a meteor on your head just so he can get some quiet.

I love those lungs and the tubes that go into its head. The Hellraiser-ish devises are extremely cool too.

Lachesis feels like it would fit better for him, as they measure the length of life and determine destiny.
