Description It all started when word spread that Su'Feer'Ir had apparently made camp in a nearby canyon. Uninhabited and rarely traveled, it was said that it had been seen in the area multiple times, indicating it was working on something there. A local warlord sent his best men to drive it off, believing that the Freak posed a threat to himself and his people. Though the battle was long and with a few causalities, they succeeded in ousting it from the canyon, driving it away from their land. But Su'Feer'Ir's presence within the canyon roused the warlord's curiosity, so he sent a crew down to find out why it had been down there. After a few hours of searching, they discovered a recently dug mineshaft. At the end of its many tunnels, the men found shards of an unknown metal, a kind they had not seen before. Bringing the odd find to the surface, a blacksmith was ordered to test the metal, and found that it was much sharper and harder than any other metal he had used before. Upon the realization of what they found, the warlord had the mineshaft put back to work in order to dig up more of the precious metal. For days they dug and mined, finding larger and larger chunks of the strange, resilient metal. But one day, while they dug, a large chunk of tunnel collapsed, revealing a smooth wall of this peculiar metal, with weird etchings in its surface. Upon approaching the wall, one of the panels opened up, revealing a large, mechanical eye. The miners had unknowingly activated the Infinity Rook.

The large, tower-like entity lifted itself from its fallen position, destroying the mine and miners within. Dozens of long, black arms emerged from its body, allowing the tower-sized being to climb free of the canyon. Once on the surface, it was soon realized that this odd entity was actual a war machine. Scuttling off to the nearest civilized area, it left a path of destruction in its wake. Its many eyes could fire off laser blasts, blowing holes in castles and towers, and burning villages to the ground. Its many legs would trample anything in its path. When the cavalry arrived, they were quickly mashed into the earth. Arrows and swords are useless against its metal surface, and its legs are impervious to the blade. Siege weapons have proved useful, but they can only knock the Rook down, which doesn't do too much. With its enormous size and lethal projectiles, the Infinity Rook crushed anyone it laid its eyes on. Until the Knights of the Wrong Table came....

Bringing themselves into the fray, the order had a hard time finding a way to stop the foe. Getting near it was impossible, and normal weapons did nothing. After much trial and error, and a lucky break, the order learned that the Infinity Rook was vulnerable at the top, where it opened up into its mechanical insides. Though that meant they had to get on top of a being that was taller than a castle. But eventually, the Wrong Table succeeded, destroying the Infinity Rook from the inside and toppling the colossus to the ground. A set-in self-destruct sequence eliminated all traces of the weapon, taking its secrets and technology with it. And watching off in the distance, Su'Feer'Ir saw its demise and simply moved on. The Infinity Rook, apparently, didn't matter that much to it.

A disturbing observation was made during the battle. When on top of it, it appeared the exposed section of the Infinity Rook was meant to connect to something. It means that this wasn't just some engine of destruction, but a piece of something bigger.

That is a possibility, but given the size of the Rook and the amount of materials that was gathered before its rising, they probably would not have enough to damage it. Even if you outfitted ballista ammo with these metals, you would need to be able to fire upon the entity before one of its eyes destroyed it.
