Description

Fate really is a cruel thing, there is no other explanation. How else could life do this to her so viciously and constantly? It couldn't just be one tragedy, one horrible thing, it had to torment her again and again. No mercy, no escape. It all started on that one day, and it never let up. When he showed up. It was a day she hoped to never have to remember or relive, praying that it become nothing more than a bad dream. But fate is cruel and the gods are heartless, he did this to her and then went about his business without a care. Was he punished, was he made to answer for this horrible act? No, because the gods decided it was her that needed to be reprimanded! After all he had done, after all she had been through! They look down upon her and blamed her for all of it! And when her beloved sisters came to stand up for her, they punished them as well! A curse upon them all and then banished, that is what they got. Twisted into some wretched creature, and her sisters transformed as well. She was devastated for so long, unable to accept what had happened, but her dear sisters offered comfort. In time, they grew used to their new forms and found a way to make a life out of it. There was actually some bright moments! Some periods of joy and comfort! But then they come back to torture her! They send some idiot with shiny toys and flappy shoes to CHOP OFF HER HEAD! What did she do to deserve this!?

Honestly, she thought that would be the end of it. A single sword through the neck and then sweet oblivion. A life of torment and suffering, finally over. It would be sad to part with her dear sisters, but at least all this pain was at an end. Nope, for some reason she was still kicking. Still had to be fate's punching bag. Despite her being "mortal," her decapitated head was working just fine. True, she couldn't do much, what with her being a head, but she was somehow still alive. She tried to get back at that god-loving fool, but she wasn't well equipped for fighting or vengeance. She did bleed a lot all over the place, so that had to cause him some grief. Maybe stain that stupid fancy shield of his or those stupid boots. There was some good moments though! Turns out that brainless hunk had a beef with some king, and wound up letting her petrify the rich snob. That was fun! Should have seen the looks on their faces! Honestly, there were a lot of nobles and fancy folk she wound up petrifying while being lugged around by that idiot. One could have been another's brother or something? And then there was a sea monster, or was there? Its kind of hard keeping track when one is stuck in a rucksac and carried around like a hunk of cheese. Unfortunately, that fool didn't go for some path of vengeance or tyranny and terrorize the land (which she would have totally gone along with). A weapon like her, he could be ruler of the whole freaking land! Petrify a few more kings, and maybe some gods too! Nope, he acts like he has morals (pretending he didn't decapitate an innocent snake lady for no reason) and instead has her put into a shield or something. Lame! Now everyone is just stinking wearing her like a trophy and handing her out like a fun hat. The gods are just doing this to torture her some more, treating her like some prop! The utter humiliation!

Eventually though, the gods grew bored with this simple toy and she was left to rust or rot or whatever. Just laying around like garbage, how lovely. But time and ingenuity let her figure something out, and she was soon free! Well, she more of just kind of plopped out, not really her doing. Maybe the magic wore off or what not. Regardless, she was now free of that stupid toy and now....had to figure out what the heck to do. Walking proved to be a problem, but enough time and practice let her come up with something ingenious. So she could now crawl around, but then what? Her first thought was to find her sisters. They must be heartbroken, thinking she is dead! If she can make it to them, then all will be well and the family will be whole once more! The problem is getting there, as she can't crawl all that fast and she honestly has no clue where she is. Where did that idiot take her?! Flying all around the land on some stupid horse, all while she was bouncing about blind in that stupid sack. Maps and directions were never her strong suit, and it isn't like she can ask for directions. Just has to wander and hope for the best. If she had a real body this would be so much easier. Speaking of, what did happen to her body?...
